Dancin' Time

From the time that Addison was old enough to hold her head up and sit up, we have been turning on music in the living room and dancing/bouncing with her.  She absolutely loves it. Now she brings you the remote and says "dance" meaning turn the tv onto the music channel.

So we thought sister might want to join in the fun too.  I'm sure once Landry gets a little bit older it will more enjoyable.  My heart melts when I watch Addison and her daddy dance around the living room.  I hope they continue to do that even when she's older and comes home from college.

Jungle Gym Tutorial

Big sister, Addison thinks she needs to make sure that Landry understands all there is to know about the jungle gym.  It never fails that when Landry is underneath, Addison thinks she needs to squirm herself in right beside her.  For the most part Landry's a team player but sometimes Addison can get a little rough and Landry gets irritated.

Water hose

This is what happens when you let your little girl help you plant flowers and water them afterwards.  Addison was such a big helper with planting flowers.  She loves to be outside so she had a blast.  She mimicked everything I did.  She's not too sure about the bugs though.

Our Baby is not a baby anymore

I know this isn't a very exciting picture, but I want to document how fast Landry is growing.  I can't believe she's about to be 4 months old on April 2nd.  She's the sweetest thing and loves to just smile at you.  She's starting to make this grunting noise when she wants attention and it's hilarious.

Don't you just love sleeping babies?

Spring is Here

Last weekend we spent a lot of time outside just soaking in the sun.  Addison loves to wear her sunglasses as of now, so I figured I better get some pictures now before she decides she hates them.

I think I could look at these pictures all day.  Her smile just melts my heart and she loves to say "cheese" and smile at the camera.  Love you Addison Lea!

PaPa's Little Helper

We are so fortunate that the girls get to know their great grandparents.  I had to go get my hair cut Saturday morning, and I took the girls over to their Nina and Papa's.  Addison has really taken to Papa.  She loves to help him outside.

I'm so thankful that Gingy takes them over there during the week.  I think it's good for everyone.  It keeps the great grandparents young.

Bugs

Addison has become majorly afraid of bugs when she first sees them.  She yells "bug" really loud and starts shaking and looking for someone to get the bug.  However as soon as she finds someone to walk her over to look at it, she loves the bug.  Drama queen!
Our grass looks horrible in this picture, but Jordan had just buzzed it for the spring.

Format Change

So I've decided to make the pictures I post on the blog LARGE instead of medium, so if you notice a difference just go with it.  Hope everyone enjoys the change, I know I am.

Girls Can't Have Enough Shoes

We added some shoes to Addison's shoe collection.  Her foot size has gone from 5 1/2 to a 6, so it was time to get a new set of shoes.  Now that I know I'm going to be able to hand down shoes from Addison to Landry, I don't feel as guilty spending more money on shoes.  The only issue I might run in to is that Addison has to get wide shoes and Landry has skinny feet.  I'm crossing my fingers.  We're going to go with they will be able to share, because it's easier to buy more shoes if Dad thinks that (haha).

Addison's 2nd Birthday Outfit

Addison's 2nd birthday is coming up, so of course she needed a new outfit for her 2 year pictures right?  Well I found the cutest little dress on etsy.com and just had to get it for her.  I think it's just adorable.  We're getting her pictures made at the Arboretum on April 30th, and I can't wait.

Relaxed Weekend

We've been pretty busy lately, so it was nice to finally have a weekend of relaxation.  The last two weekends have been filled with adult time, so Jordan and I loved on our girls all weekend.  As you can tell, they had a great time just hanging out.

We decided to go to the mall to take some shoes back to StrideRite (pics to come), so Addison got to enjoy running around the play area and Landry just hung out.  Wish I would have gotten some pictures of Addison in the play area and on the cars, but we're working on our picture taking.  Addison is slowly loosing up when she's in the play area with all the kids, but still very standoffish.  She wants to make sure you are right there beside her.  One day we'll become more independent, but I'm enjoying that she loves to have Jordan or myself to protect her.  If she only  knew that we will always be by her side throughout her life.

Addison saw a helicopter at the play area - she loves airplanes, helicopters, kites, etc

Sand/Water Box

Jordan's parents bought Addison a sand/water box.  It's the cutest thing.  I'll try and get a better picture with my camera, but this is the best I could pull from the web.  I think she's really going to enjoy it.  Thanks Gingy and Coach!

1st Time with Both Girls

So my parents braved the task of keeping both girls at the same time, so Jordan's mom and dad could go on a trip to San Antonio.  I think they survived.  I know Jordan and I really enjoyed some more adult time and celebrating his 28 birthday!  Thanks Mom and Dad!  Hopefully this is one of many to come.

I found some old pictures when I was downloading some pictures from a memory card and found these pictures of the morning Landry was born (December 2).  The last morning of just the three of use.
