Daddy went to the Baylor/Tech game, so the girls and I decided that putting up Christmas was the perfect way to fill the time. We went to WalMart and they picked out everything they wanted for their tree (I may have added a few options). They absolutely love it. Looking at this picture reminds me that they are both getting so tall and growing up. The tree is a 4 ft tree and Addison is almost as tall as the tree.

Sassy
Last month Addison was invited to a Sweet & Sassy birthday party for one of her classmates. She was so excited that she was getting to go with all of her little friends and it was girls only. After the party, her dad and I are for sure not ready for her to grow up this fast. It was a little too much for mommy and daddy.

Change
This signature right here changed my life.
Sometimes we pray to God for years and wonder why he isn't answering our prayers. Well wouldn't you know that He did answer my prayers years later. On August 26, 2013 I would no longer get in my car every week day and drive 35-45 minutes to Lewisville. Rene had decided to sell the dealership, and the job that I knew it for the past 9 years was over. I made so many memories, friends, and life long lessons at Toyota of Lewisville. I learned so much about people, myself, and just plain life in those 9 years.
Things changed. I will now be working from home (sometimes elsewhere) for Rene and Deborah. Yipee!!!!! Addison starts Kindergarten next year and Landry has 2 years before she starts. This will allow me to stay home with the girls and be a part of their daily lives. I will be able to watch them grow, learn, and just plain have fun with them. God is good and I am so excited to be able to have this opportunity. I emailed Rene the other night to tell him thanks for allowing me to see Addison's smile on her face when I told her I would be at her school's Thanksgiving luncheon. She was so excited. I want to cherish this opportunity and this moment in our family's lives. For I am forever grateful to be able to do this, in part because Jordan works so hard and provides for us with is job. Thank you to him for that.

Haircut #2
Yes, I said #2. That's because Addison decided she needed to cut her hair because it was in her way while she was coloring/cutting. Why oh why, did I leave the preschool scissors out for her to use while I wasn't watching? I ran to the restroom and it only took a few seconds for her to cut some "bangs." She came and showed me while I was in the restroom. I noticed that the amount of hair in her hands did not add up to the amount cut off. She soon told me that the rest was sitting in the trash can.
The best part of all of this was that we had family pictures Saturday that week. Wonderful. Our sweet, lovely, kind hair dresser fit her into her schedule that Thursday so she could "fix" Addison's hair the best possible for pictures. I was angry at first and then I realized that I was the one that left her alone with the scissors and it's just life. We have to laugh at life because otherwise it would drain us.
Disclaimer: picture was taken right after she got a talking to about who is supposed to cut her hair

Happy Birthday Aunt Deb
What an amazing lady. Happy Birthday Aunt Deb. We love you and appreciate the woman that you are. We inspire us more than you will ever know to be kind, fun-loving, giving, and unselfish. You are truly one of a kind. May God continue to bless you for many years to come.

Texas Band
Our annual trip to watch the UT Band practice in Richardson. The girls enjoyed it but they would rather have just played with the kids that were at the stadium.

State Fair of Texas
The girls experienced the State Fair of Texas for the first time this year. The afternoon was perfect. It wasn't crowded and the weather was perfect. Our girls aren't really the adventurous ones, so we didn't spend a lot of time on rides. They were more into the animals, face painting, etc.

Ivy Quin Isip
On September 2, 2013 Ryan and Maegan welcomed Ivy Quin Isip into the world. What a blessing she has been. We were so excited that Maegan had an uncomplicated labor and Ivy came out just perfect.
The girls were so excited to meet her, so we loaded up and headed to the hospital the next day.

William's 7th Birthday
William Quinn turned 7 on September 21st. Oh how time flies. He has grown up so fast and a very smart, fun loving, kind, and energetic boy. We just wish he was a little bit closer so we could spend more time together.
The party was at a put put golf place. Addison was a no go on the golf but Landry putted every hole.
