This girl loves to read the same books over and over and over. She brings you a book and says "read." Her favorite reading spot is in her daddy's lap. She also tries to distract from going to bed by bringing you a book and asking you to read it.

Smug Grin
Landry is starting to catch on that there is a camera. She focuses so hard on the camera that it's hard to get a picture, especially when I'm the one taking the picture and trying to make her smile. I finally got a smug grin out of her. The headband is doing her no justice in the ear department. Poor thing looks like she has big ears. I could squeeze those cheeks all day! We love you "precious."

Popsicle
Can you say HOT??? I don't remember it being this hot, but supposedly it was this hot back in 1980. Maybe that's why I can't remember. It's so hard to find some sort of entertainment for the girls when it's this hot outside. We tried eating popsicles, but I think more ended up on the ground than in our mouths because it melted so quickly.

Donuts
This girl loves donuts. I think she would eat them every day if we would let her. After church on Sunday, Jordan was hungry and knew just where to take Addison. We went to Shipley's and Addison got to get a sprinkle donut.
Her Gingy brings her donut holes randomly throughout the week.

Wrapping Up Our NB Visit
I finished cleaning off my camera this morning and noticed that some pictures from our New Boston trip did not download the other day. So here are the last few of our great time at New Boston. The girls absolutely love to go. There's something about being able to run around out in the country and not worry about cars driving by and the smells, oh the smells.

Country Girls Will Survive
While in New Boston visiting my family, my mom took Addison for a ride in the tractor. Addison absolutely loves the farm and especially the tractor. It's so funny to watch her drive. We'll be standing on the front porch at the house and we can see her driving in circles in the middle of the pasture. It's hilarious. She thinks she is doing such a good job and my mom just lets her drive wherever and however. Thank goodness there's not much she can run into, unless you count cows and trees.
She looks so small compared the the size of the tractor

Taking A Dip
As soon as we got to my parents for the 4th of July weekend, we filled the kiddie pool up for the girls and headed outside. This is when I wish our back porch was covered or at least shaded by trees. It was warm but it was nice to be able to sit outside with the girls and not tell them no to swimming.
Always telling people how to do something. Of course her way is always right? Not really but she likes to think so.
I told Jordan that this picture will haunt Landry when she gets married and I pull out the baby pictures. Love the rolls!!! She's not sure what's going on.
I think Landry started to enjoy the cool water.
MeeMaw got suckered in
Everything goes in the mouth
We couldn't get in the pool without tractors at MeeMaw and Grandaddy's

Haircuts
Before we left for New Boston for the 4th of July weekend, Addison and I stopped to see Miss Angie to get our haircut. Getting our haircut is kind of a chore, but we get it done somehow. Angie has her salon in Rockwall, so logistically it's a chore. Since Rockwall is on our way out of town it works out pretty well. I leave to get my haircut and Jordan follows up with the girls about 45 minutes later. By the time I need to start letting my color dry the gang is there. Fortunately Jordan's sister's house is in Rockwall so we can leave his car. Sorry for all of the details but I know I'll look back on this one day.
I just think to myself how expensive it's going to be to get all of our haircuts once they are older. We better start saving now.
Addison after her haircut. We didn't cut too much but enough to get it growing and keep a ponytail for the summer. Her hair is so fine that I don't think she'll ever have long hair.
Sister on the other hand is going to have lots of hair and thick. Thank goodness she got Jordan's hair. We'll definitely have to get her haircut before we did Addison's. Eating/drinking is what Landry does best these days. She's going through a growth spurt and needs to eat a lot, or so she thinks.

Worn Out
Aunt Katie took Addison with her to their Sunday School playgroup on Tuesday. Addison was the only girl, so it was a little change from Addison's MDO. Katie said she had a great time. Addison was kind of hesitant at first to get in the car with Katie, but Gingy told her that she would get to eat Chick-fila and ketchup. Well, the ketchup got her and she was in the car ready to go.
"Thanks Aunt Katie !!!! Call me anytime and I'm all yours. Ice cream or swimming sound good?" - Addison

Landry: 7 Months
Another month has gone by and Miss Landry is 7 months old. Where, oh where has my little baby gone? I put her to bed with her blanket and then go in to her room before we go to bed to take it off. The other night I just stood by her crib and got teary eyed. She's longer than half of the crib now.
So what's going on with Miss Landry:
- Obsessed with TV remotes and cell phones
- Talks all the time
- Can almost get out of her bouncy seat just trying to get out
- Very determined
- Starting to get stranger anxiety - knows when we leave the room now
- Sleeping:
- One long and one short nap
- 8:30p - 7:15a Night time
- Eating
- Bottles: 6-7 ounces per bottle
- Baby food: eats 1-2 containers per sitting
- Started eating Gerber puffs, cheese, yogurt
- Smiles and laughs at Addison all day long
- Still keeps a close eye on Buddy, the dog
- Starting to put knees under her chest to ooch where she wants to go and get a toy
- Clothes - 9 months
- Happy baby and smiles all the time

Happy Birthday Mason & Landon
Happy Birthday Mason & Landon!!!
We were invited to celebrate Mason's 3rd and Landon's 1st birthdays about 2 weeks ago now. I'm still catching up on post. The theme was Toy Story. Thanks for the party favors guys - Addison loves her bucket and markers (those are hidden from time to time).
