iPhone Dump

I have been horrible with the blog the last month.  Time is flying by around here.  I feel like we get up and it's go go go until it's time to lay my head on my pillow at night.  Oh and the fact that my phone says that storage is full and I cannot take any more pictures on my phone until I go by the Apple store to get the memory cleared from all the pics.  So here's some for now.

Addison is wishing for a bicycle for her 5th birthday
The girls love to go look at the kitties at PetsMart.  I don't think Jordan will ever let them get a cat.

Ethan Joshua Griffin

Our nephew, Ethan Joshua Griffin was born on January 14, 2014.  He weighed 8 lbs, 9 ounces and 20 inches long.  He is absolutely precious.  Every time I hold a newborn I am reminded of God's glory and his blessings upon us.

Galveston Trip

The girls had their first trip to the beach.  Aunt Katie, Uncle Doug, Gingy, and Coach took the girls to Galveston last weekend.  They had such a good time being chased by the waves, eating ice cream and soaking up all the attention.  Jordan and I were thankful for another weekend being kidless.

I think from the smiles you can tell they were having a blast

Addison said she found the perfect table for her and Landry.  Just their size.

Love Him

The honey and I got a night out.  It feels like it's been forever.  We definitely enjoy it when we do get a chance.  The crazy thing is that we went to Capital Grille in Plano and as they were leading us to our seats they congratulated us on our anniversary (our anniversary is in July).  I thought okay, not sure what this is all about but I'll go with it.  Sometimes Jordan is silly like that and acts like it is.  We sat down to a decorated table and a red stem rose with champagne and a free dessert.  The night was perfect.  The thing is, he didn't call and I didn't call either to say that it was our anniversary.  We're pretty sure that we got sat at the wrong table.

So after a few drinks before dinner at the Blue Martini and a wonderful dinner at Capital Grille we made our way home to do what you ask????  Sit on the couch and watch YouTube videos of old country songs and sing our hearts out.  Makes us feel young and old all at the same time.

I feel more blessed with each year that I am married to his man.  He completes me in every way and makes me a better person.  He is unselfish and is constantly putting his family first.  May we continue to watch YouTube videos and sing our hearts out together as we get older.  I will always cherish my marriage and whom God chose for me.

They Make My Heart Smile

I had a lot of random pictures on my phone, so I thought instead of having a post for every picture I decided just to put them all together.
Who needs toys when you have a box?
Using our gift cards from MeeMaw and Grandaddy at the nail salon
One of the ladies braided Landry's hair.  This was key in her staying still for her nails to dry.
Watching kids play in water puddles never gets old.

The girls are really into playing dress up lately

At Lowes picking out new things to help Daddy with in the yard
One day Jordan and the girls met me at a park while I was running.  On the way back, Landry decided she wanted to run back home with me.  She hung in there really well.  After about a quarter of a mile, I put her in the van.  My mins/mile definitely went up.

Happy New Year 2014

We rang in the new year with sparklers (limited in the city) and the girls loved them.  They both took $1 out of their piggy banks and went and bought sparklers.

With the girls tucked into bed before midnight (9:00p), Jordan and I rang in the new year with a glass of wine and bedtime of 11:00p.  It doesn't get much better than this.  Love my little family and am excited to see what 2014 holds.
